The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson is a short book about a guy who transforms into a rather nasty creature. I guess I kind of knew the tale, but I had never read (or listened) to it. Friday was my day off, so I did just that (to the neglect of my other books - but I was also able to listen and do a bit of plumbing as well). Much like other works published in the 1800's, this story is filled with detail. This particular story involves very little action but has quite a bit of conversation. - Spoiler alert -
I was surprised that the story wound up being a lesson on the nature of sin: it's intrigue and then it's enslaving power.
